Now Hiring a Senior Registered Nurse at Hamble Heights!

Encore is seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Registered Nurse to work at our outstanding Hamble Heights Care home based in Southampton.

As a Senior Registered Nurse your primary focus will be to deliver high-quality nursing care to our residents and be the go to person, providing leadership, clinical advice and support to the staff within the home, the residents, their friends, relatives and any visitors to the home.

You will maintain up to date clinical knowledge and skills; and where needed convey any concerns to the Home Manager, behaving in a highly professional manor at all times aligned to the NMC Code of Conduct.

At the heart of the role you will ensure the needs of each resident are assessed effectively at preadmission and continually throughout their stay in the home, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care and service appropriate to those identified needs.

About you

  • Extensive experience as a registered nurse.
  • Experience within a health and social care setting with older people.
  • A clear understanding of CQC standards/ legislation.
  • A strong leader, highly clinically skilled, well organised, able to take the lead.
  • Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding.
  • Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
